Datalogic is an industrial group which has been listed on the Italian stock exchange since 2001.
It focuses on due specific markets: Automatic Data Capture and Industrial Automation. The Group is structured into two divisions: Datalogic ADC and Datalogic Automation.
Datalogic ADC, focused on the offering of products and solutions for the ADC market, is the worldwide leader in retail POS scanners, offers the most complete line of handheld scanners in the industry and a full range of rugged mobile computers dedicated to warehousing solutions, field-force automation, retail in store. From 2012 a new Solutions Business Unit, leader in the development of solutions for the retail industry strengthens the offering of Datalogic ADC.
Datalogic Automation, specialized in the supply of products and solutions for the Industrial Automation market, is one of the major worldwide producers of automatic identification, safety, detection and marking solutions.
The Business Development Unit (which includes the American company Informatics, Texas) works with the other two divisions. It deals with the development of new business platforms within the Group and the evaluation of new merger and acquisition opportunities. The Business Development Unit also enhances the growth of new businesses within the Group.
Datalogic S.p.A., with headquarters in Bologna, is responsible for defining the Group's strategy, values and policies. It guarantees coordination and control of the Group and all its divisions. |
